Aquamarine, emerald and garnet tones....
This one is not part of the 'Element' series.
I thought the above ankh would be the last of them, but then I glanced at the pink flowers I painted in a "Sip and Paint" held last year, and thought PINK!

This one is done on 14 count aida, it is much bigger than the others, (I had the canvas and wanted to use it up.)

Hanging beneath the painting which inspired it....
I was going to return to finishing the tapestry of winged Ma'at, but then I got another idea for an ankh.
Color harmonies appeared in my mind's eye and I played with the existing scans to approximate what I was imagining:

"Purptest ten" uses the previous pink ankh's scan.

I diverged from the usual 18 count aida to see how big an ankh done on 20 count aida would be.

Comparing the size results, 20 count, 18 count and 14 count...

Visualizing for next, a rough inversion of the purple ankh...

This ankh as it is an inversion of the purple ankh is also done on 20 count aida...

On the scanner...

In situ...
I have a sense of satisfaction now and am returning to the winged Ma'at tapestry
February 2025
And then...
...I did declare I was done with ankhs... BUT:

I looked at this painting I did in college and...
Wouldn't you know it, but I saw in my mind's eye a matching blue and orange ankh next to it!
Well, I got MOST of the right side of the Ma'at tapestry done, before giving into the call...

This is a large ankh, like the pink and dark one, done on 14 count aida
I think the orange doesn't look that red and the dark blue has a darker and greenish tinge when seen in person.

It is next to the painting which inspired it...
