This may be only the first blocking. As I am instructed by the experts:

"If your canvas was severely warped from exclusively using the Continental Tent or Half-Cross Tent needlepoint stitch, you may need to repeat the process several times."

I knew enough not to use the really warping Half-Cross, but I did exclusively use Continental stitch.
