"This fragment from the tomb of a man named Nefershe-shempspy, nicknamed Senni, records he held the job of Royal Treasure and the ritual title of 'Carpenter of Nekhen (Hierakonpolis) who makes the sacred boat of the goddess Hathor, Mistress of Dendera.' The latter title suggest that he was in charge of the ritual boats that carried the statue of the goddess in procession in his home town. It was very common for a person to hold priestly and secular jobs at the same time."
