An Even Briefer Explanation of my Path
August 21, 2010

(This is preparation for a brief verbal explanation:)
It was in 2003, as a result of an intensive web-search that I came to the pages of the Temple of Set, where I learned about the god Set and the process of Xeper. It resonated with magnetic attraction of potentiality. I wanted to know more about 'willed conscious evolution', and how through magical skill-sets I could become a more effective human being. During ancient Egyptian times, magic was not divorced from religion. Learning of Set, I studied the Egyptian mythology, and saw a well working, balanced system. Ever crucial is the concept of Ma'at, which means balance, order and justice. It is also defined as 'connective justice'. While we are in our consciousness isolate beings, we are not isolated beings.

In studies of material evolution, we see how the DNA strands are all connected. That which makes wings in birds, makes fins in fish, forelegs in mammals, and arms and hands in humans. We are all connected. It is part of Ma'at to see this connection.

It is the twin goals of an evolving consciousness to gain effectiveness in the outer world, as well as the inner world, thus realm of Horus and realm of Set are balanced. How each of us defines this is of our own unique strengths and talents, using guidance from our Higher Self. By that I mean, we retreat to solitude and shake off the Madison street fed delusions of what outer world success should look like.

It is all a continuum, where ever we are on the path of willed conscious evolution, we can always improve. What may seem humble to the onlooker is known better by the individual. Do I seem scatter brained, nervous and clumsy? But you should have seen me 'way back when'!
