Slow Progress - Mandala

What's been going on? I'm for all intents and purposes over a nasty, nasty bug. I had two weeks of aches, fevers, chills, weakness, and sore eyes. Then the bug wouldn't completely leave, as it remained in the right eye, with a case of pink eye.

I feel almost normal now?


Here's the plan for the current project, loosely based on a digital mandala I did in 2003...


The progress I've made.

I will need to adjust the green triangle design area, as the triangles came out a slightly different shape. But the center circular part is well on its way to being done.

The green cones took on a new evolution, becoming funnels for the light.

My first attempt at the pale purple light rays turned out too huge. Its removal will take a while.

The entire center portion is done!
I'll finish the black circle and what I can of the outer purple. Then it's off the hoop, for more stitching.

I have a 14 inch hoop. I checked, the entirety of the design will not fit it, so this piece may stay off the hoop? I'll soon know.
