The green cones took on a new evolution, becoming funnels for the light.

My first attempt at the pale purple light rays turned out too huge. Its removal will take a while.

The entire center portion is done!
I'll finish the black circle and what I can of the outer purple. Then it's off the hoop, for more stitching.

I have a 14 inch hoop. I checked, the entirety of the design will not fit it, so this piece may stay off the hoop? I'll soon know.

Mandala on the Big Hoop

I did put it on the 14 inch hoop. Its tension isn't as tight as it was on the 12 inch hoop, but it's still helpful.
