Continued Progress on the Throne

As I looked at the front of the throne, I wasn't pleased with its plainness. One thing I remember from my art instruction is a successful sculpture is attractive from all angles. So I went about seeking something authentic. I found that the thrones of deities were decorated with the neb-was-ankh motif. Medinet Habu's Temple of Ramesses III features such a scene, captured by kairoinfu4u. I took a screen capture of the relevant details:

And I worked up a sketch using both hand drawn and digital methods:


A bit more smoothing and I think it will be as perfect as I'm going to get.
