"Within the Grid"

I knew _Proportion and Style in Ancient Egyptian Art_ by Gay Robins would be a useful resource. She explores the squared grid systems used by the ancient artists to proportion standing, sitting, and kneeling human figures and gives a history of their evolution. I was pleased to find one grid featuring Set, based on a 18th dynasty image. So I had an attempt at drawing using the grid:
