"Inching Along"
11:10am

Dramatic days, fearing the "End of an Era" with the computer's hard disk. The hard disk hasn't died, but it is in its last days. The recommended plan to delete all on the drive and start over did not work. Yes, in the days of DOS, it would have. So we've removed all but the essential program folders and one folder, labeled 'scans', hoping this will ease the strain on the old thing.

Meanwhile, we inch along. I did finish the gallery of Gauguin's art. Thirteen photos are there. I have a fourteenth, one of a landscape at Le Pouldu at the National Gallery of Art, but it was too blurry to bother.

Now that I've finished that, I pondered what to do next. What feels most suitable at the moment is a mandala. I find doing one calms me, brings me more into balance:

I used methods I learned in the 'Happy Thoughts' sketchbook project, utilizing lots of round things in the house to draw around! Now I hope to color it. I'm seeing bloom-y colors like pinks and greens, in view of the coming spring.

After that, I hope to get it scanned!
