The Bell Tower at Balboa Park is 208 feet "Tall", and was built for the Panama–California Exposition held 1915-1916. At that time it was likely the tallest building in San Diego.

This view is seen from the Panama Cafe through the Museum of Art's arches leading to part of its sculpture garden, where I saw the Calder sculpture.
