Renaissance Festival, 2000

We almost didn't go to the Renaissance Festival this year However on the last day of the last weekend, Laura and I went. We were supposed to have met Anton and Cynthia there, but they got a late start. I didn't take as many pictures as I did last year, as I'd forgotten to charge up the batteries, but I did get a few nice shots.


 
 
 
 
 
The crowds weren't as huge as we expected. Maybe people stayed away fearing crowds, or maybe the promise of 95 degree (35C) heat scared them. Still there were a few.


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
And many of them dressed in Renaissance garb. Laura and I did, as well. This couple in their lovely brocade, however, were the fanciest.


Musicians were everywhere to delight.

One band inspired this damsel's graceful dance.
She swirled around and around us bystanders.
