"A well-preserved parallel in the Brooklyn Museum reveals that this fragment is part of the platform of an ancient model of an Egyptian temple, which was probably used in the ritual of the actual temple's foundation ceremony. The platform's form bears scenes of king Seti I kneeling and presenting offerings." (From info card)
