Seated Cloaked Man, 13th Dynasty

Statuette of a Seated Man in a Cloak
Dynasty 13(ca, 1802-1640 BCE)
Theodore M. Davis Collection, Bequest of Theodore M. Davis, 1915 (30.8.73)

From info card:
"The large wig shows that this small, cloaked figure was carved during the Thirteenth Dynasty. The eyes and eyebrows are shaped archaistically in the manner of the early Middle Kingdom."

Not to be outdone on that 'archaizing' aspect, a statue in the Brooklyn museum appears quite similar, but it is from the 18th Dynasty!
