| The official website for Balboa Park declares it ''America's largest urban cultural park.'' It's big, all of 1,200 acres, and it has lots of culture, with fifteen museums. The San Diego Zoo is also housed within this park. But on our Memorial weekend visit, we mainly concentrated on The Museum of Man and its Egyptian exhibit. Tip: go early in the day, for there's lots to see! |

If we had gone earlier in the day, even with the old camera, I would have had more photos!
I also have extensive photos of the Egyptian collection at the Metropolitan Museum and at the Brooklyn Museum.
