"Women, like men, had elaborately decorated tombs. In this scene, Lady Merttetiiyet sits before two tables heaped with food offerings. The inscription asks for 'a thousand loaves of bread, a thousand jars of beer, a thousand oxen, a thousand geese for the revered one, Merttetiiyet.'"
