Most common spelling of Set's name...

He who is in, (dwells in)

The 'kh' glyph is said to be "the belly and udder of an animal, probably a cow or goat", the zig-zag glyph represents the 'n' sound in 'khan'

The red land, (aka 'desert')

Budge shows 'T' as pronunciation but more recent scholars give 'D' for the hand-shaped glyph in 'deshert', aka 'desert'
Besides Budge's Two Volume Dictionary, Janice Kamrin in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs: A Practical Guide is my source.
